Capacity Expansions at 1050 MW Site

• There will be an additional investment of Rs 38 billion for the addition of 660 MW (super critical turbine) power generation capacity to thermal power plant of IPP of 1050 MW
• This capacity expansion would be done on the same site for which the land and all necessary approvals are in place
• Additional capacity would also be fuelled by pit head captive coal mines
• The overall power generation capacity would be enhanced by 1320 MW in other locations to reach the target of being a 3000 MW power producer
